Collection: Current Weekly Auction - Closing Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 11:30 pm Atlantic Time
Welcome to our weekly unreserved auction! This week we offer material from two specialized areas, First, we have an exhaustive offering of King George V material from Australia and New Zealand. To help give you guidance in understanding the intricacies of this material I have posted a series of videos on my Youtube channel, which you would be advised to take a look at. They will help clarify some of the terminology used in my descriptions with regard to watermarks and paper types, many of which are listed only in Gibbons. You can access those here.
The second area we offer, for Canada is the first part of an exhaustive study of the Mufti Issue of 1937-1942. Again, I have posted some video content and have posted a table of the paper and gum types for this issue, which will be located under the "stamp tables" heading in the main menu. You can access the video here and the tables here and here.
We have moved the Small Queen table that was previously here to our Stamp Issue Tables section, which you can access from the main menu. You will also find a table here detailing the paper types used for the New Zealand issues offered in this auction.
Lots marked with a "(C)" next to the lot number are on consignment. Accordingly a 15% buyer's premium will apply to those lots only.
There are 367 lots this week.
If you are new to the auction, please visit our FAQ page for a description of all the relevant terms and conditions. Please also note that all Canadian residents will be charged appropriate sales taxes based on where they reside.
