A group of 2 souvenir postcard folders From New Brunswick, showing various tourist attractions ,from the 1960's. The red folder appears to be from the early 1960's, based on the fact that the cars depicted in the pictures are all 1950's models. The multicoloured and on white folder may be from either the late 1960's or very early 1970's, based on the fact that the pictures depict late 1960's car models. The multicolured on white folder depicts Animaland, The floral clock at Beechwood (still there), the hydroelectric plant at Beechwood, the dam and falls at Grand Falls, the Edmunston Cathedral (still there), Sugarloaf Mountain, Blessing of the fishing fleet, Magnetic Hill, Princess Margaret Bridge in Federicton, Beaverbook Art Gallery, Federicton (much larger today - the original building has been expanded), French Fort Grove, Newcastle, NB, business section in Bathurst (looks nothing like this now or when I lived there in 2002-2004) and the Caraquet Museum. The red folder also contains Magnetic Hill, but it looks totally different,being less developed. The rest of the shots are mainly different attractions from what was featured in the other folder, including: The Hartland Bridge, car and passenger ferry at Cape Tormentine, historic cannon and blockhouse at St. Andrews, a coatal lighthouse, a woman holding lobsters, Reversing Falls (looks similar, but there is now a restaurant where all the cars are, but that road and parking is still there), Hopewell Rocks, Administration Building UNB, lobster boats on the East Coast, tidal bore at Moncton and Crooked Creek from the lookout at Fundy National Park. Overall the cards are VF. Net estimated value for the group is $10.
