A fresh and very fine example of the 25¢ French booklet from the 1942-1949 War Issue, containing two panes of four plus 2 labels of the 3c carmine-red and with the type II covers with 57 mm text. Harris front cover type IIn and back cover B. The panes are printed on smooth vertical wove. The booklet also contains the surcharged 6c airmail rate page, showing the misplaced surcharge, which underlines the original text, rather than obliterating it, as it should. See the scans for the appearance of the normal surcharge. The cover is bound with the normal 17 mm staple. The contents have the following characteristics:
