2 VFOG singles from the 1884-1886 Colour Changes & New Values, Crown CA Watermark. 1/2 dull green & 1d rose carmine, Perf 14 comb, pre 1887 printings. The Scott numbers range from 13 to 15, and include 13, 15. Two scarce mint examples with crackly gum that come from the scarce printings made before 1887. Prior to 1887, the 1/2d had just 6 printings and 24,300 stamps compared to 36 printings of 1,025,760 stamps, while the 1d had 11 printings of 41,400 stamps compared to 38 printings of 1,063,560 made after, so they are as ascarce as the other 1884-1886 stamps.
