2 fine OG singles of the 6c on 5c olive brown & dark olive brown Mercury & Globe from the 1932 Ottawa Conference Airmail Issue blue & dark blue overprint, both shifted upward. These are interesting variations in two respects. Firstly there is the shade difference between the two stamps. This is not common, as most of these are the regular olive brown shade. But the overprint difference is outstanding, because nearly all of the examples I have seen have a dark blue overprint. The olive brown stamp I offer in this group is the first one I have seen that has an overprint that is in a notably lighter shade of blue.
