A VFOG single of the 50c dull bluish green Oil Wells from the 1950-1952 Natural Resources Issue showing unlisted "dot inside 5" variety, crisp, smooth wove paper, streaky satin cream gum. This is the first plate variety I have come across on this stamp. I've hear that a re-entry can be found in the form of the doubling of the grass at the base of the design, but I've yet to find it. However, this is an interesting minor variety. I have no idea if it is constant or not.
Unitrade values this at $5 for a normal Fine OG single without the variety. Our estimate of the value with the variety is $10. The stamps offered here grade 84 as follows:
Centering/Margins: 54/70
Paper Freshness: 5/5
Colour: 5/5
Impression: 5/5
Absence of Visible Paper Flaws: 5/5
Perforations: 10/10
