2 F&VF OG singles of the 1/2d Queen Victoria from the 1893-1894 Obliterated Oil Rivers Issue on horizontal & vertical wove paper, perf 13 1/2 - 14. This issue has "Oil Rivers" obliterated and Niger Coast engraved into the design. The numbers issued, spread out over up to 5 different perforation measurements are as follows:

Three printings make up these numbers , with the printings being June 1893, January 1894 and March 1894.
The common perforations are 14 1/2 -15 and 13 1/2 - 14. A very small number of sheets had to have the perforating completed using a machine gauging 12-13. This results in the compound perfs 14 1/2 -15 comp 12-13 and 13 1/2 - 14 comp 12-13.
These are actual rarities whose catalogue price does not reflect the true scarcity. In Addition to the difference in perfs, these stamps are also on vertical and horizontal wove paper
