Collection: Current Weekly Auction - Closing Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 11:30 pm Atlantic Time
Welcome to our weekly unreserved auction! This week we offer material from three specialized areas, representing a re-grouping of our themes, and a shift in focus towards higher value lots. The first of these is the final instalment of my own personal classics collection of superb worldwide stamps from 1840-1870. I cover the D-W countries this week. These are mostly all "One Of A Kind" stamps that were collected for their extraordinary quality. Many are XF or Superb, and go far above the grading standards in Scott. If you look carefully at the footnotes in Scott specialized, you will see notations about margin sizes and how many VF stamps do have perfs cutting slightly into the designs or at least touching the outer framelines.
The second area consists of a reprise of the earlier Queen Victoria to King George V issues that we have received since we offered those themes.
The third area consists of the second part of our Commonwealth King George VI theme, with higher value lots over $25 first, and then Great Britain and A-B countries for lots under $25.
Lots marked with a "(C)" next to the lot number are on consignment. Accordingly a 15% buyer's premium will apply to those lots only.
There are approximately 400 lots this week. The first 205 are listed tonight, with the balance to follow over the next 2 days. There is no lot 101.
If you are new to the auction, please visit our FAQ page for a description of all the relevant terms and conditions. Please also note that all Canadian residents will be charged appropriate sales taxes based on where they reside.
