 Paper Type Characteristics
3rd Cents-A Similar to MM-B for the Small Queens, but translucent and with no ribbing on the felt side. This paper has coarse horizontal mesh that is visible without backlighting, and has a smooth, non-porous felt side.
3rd Cents-B Medium opaque, stout horizontal wove paper with clear, medium to coarse horizontal mesh, which appears about the same in backlight. Smooth, semi-porous felt side. 
3rd Cents-C Medium opaque, crisp, stout horizontal wove with no visible mesh unless held to backlight, at which time coarse mesh is visible. Smooth, non-porous felt side. 
3rd Cents-D Medium opaque, crisp, stout vertical wove with no visible mesh unless held to backlight, at which time fine vertical mesh is visible. Smooth, non-porous felt side. 
3rd Cents-E Medium opaque, stout horizontal wove, with fine horizontal mesh that appears coarse by backlight. Smooth, semi-porous felt side, with some loose fibres visible under magnification. 
3rd Cents-F Similar to 3rd Cents-A, but horizontal ribbing on the felt side and very coarse mesh visible on the wire side. 
3rd Cents-G Crisp, translucent, stout vertical wove paper with coarse vertical mesh, which appears the same in backlight. Smooth, non-porous felt side.
