3 VFNH se-tenant blocks of 4 of the 43c multicoloured Aid To Allies - Italian Campaign from the 1993 50th Anniversary Of World War 2 Issue all on NF/DF1 Coated Papers paper, each completely different tones on 1 or more stamps. Showing stunning variations on the Aid to Allies stamp, and Italian Campaign stamps, and then more subtle variations on the other two. The Aid to Allies stamp is a deep grey green on one block, with the Italiam Campaign being clear copper on that same block. The bomber forces stamp on that block is a more slatey blue than on the other two blocks where it is greenish. Finally, the Battle of The Atlantic stamp in this block is a violet blue shade. The other two blocks are slight variations of one another, but the colours in these two blocks are variations of orange brown, deep blue, greenish blue and olive green. The difference between the first block and the others should be catalogued as a major colour difference, talk less of a shade variety. It is truly spectacular.
Unitrade values this at $13.5 for the basic blocks on the most common paper, which is NF/DF1, and in the more common shades. Our estimate of the value for all three shades is $19. The blocks offered here grade 75-84 as follows:

Paper Freshness: 5/5
Colour: 5/5
Impression: 5/5
