These two stamps, the 5c and 13c, from this short lived June 1932 commemorative issue seem to exist with both semi-gloss cream gum and glossier yellowish or brownish cream gums, much like many of the dry rotary press stamps of the previous Arch issue. I haven't seen either the white gum of the early Arch issue stamps, nor have I come across the mottled brownish cream gum on these stamps, which suggests very strongly that these two gums fall outside the period of usage represented by this issue. The shades do vary on both stamps, though most are quite subtle. However, the extremes at both end of the range are drastically different, with the 5c existing in a light, bright blue and a blackish blue, and the 13c existing in a pure, crisp green shade as well as a dark yellowish green.
