3 VF used singles of the 2c black brown, dark brown & deep brown King George V from the 1932-1935 Medallion Issue with normal & inverted damaged Bell Telephone perfins, incl 2 dry rotary press printings. The dry rotary press printings are the upright and inverted perfins, while the dark brown upright perfin is the regular wet rotary press printing. The dry rotary press printings lack the gum breaker ridges visible in the oaoer

Unitrade values this at $15.25 for normal stamps without perfins. Our estimate with the perfins, based on the scacity of the perfin according to the perfins handbook is $20. The stamps offered here grade 75-84 as follows:

Centering/Margins: 35/60, 40/60, 44/60

Paper Freshness: 5/5

Colour: 5/5

Impression: 5/5

Absence of Visible Paper Flaws: 5/5

Perforations: 10/10

Cancellation: 10/10

The 2c value from this set is known both wet and dry rotary press printed. Unitrade does not list any shades, even though a wide range exist, ranging from deep yellowish brown to true black brown. The regular wet rotary press printings are narrower than the dry printings, and are perf. 10.75, while the dry rotaries are perf. 11 exactly. There appear to be a number of potentially constant varieties on this value, some of which are offered in this sale, though more study will be necessary to establish their nature.
