This issue shows some variation in shade, with the most common being shades of deep blue and deep dull blue. We have encountered one used example printed in a shade of bright blue. Unitrade does not list any varieties, but we have discovered some, including a tiny vertical dash in the second "3" of 1833. There is a bird in the sky variety under the first "A" of Canada. There is also a small horizontal dash inside the second A of Canada. Finally, we have found an example having a dot in the "C" of "Canada, and a small arc in the second A of Canada. Many of these may be constant, and we have discovered both mint and used examples of the dash in A of Canada, which proves that the variety is indeed constant. The gum shows the same variations as on the UPU conference issue. I have not, as yet, found any re-entries on this issue.
