A VFNH single of the 10c olive green Loyalists Statue from the 1934 United Empire Loyalists Issue on orangy toned paper, orangy cream semi-gloss gum. This would appear to come from a separate portion of the overall printing, as it is so distinctly different from the regular stamps, and I have found this paper and gum type in more than one different collection. So I do not think that this comes about as a result of poor starage conditions.

The stamp offered here grades 75 as follows:

Impression: 5/5
Absence of Visible Paper Flaws: 5/5
Perforations: 10/10
Although no varieties are listed at all in Unitrade, there are two major ones to note. The first is that the colour of the stamp varies from a pure olive green to an olive green that has a greyish undertone. The gum on most printings of this stamp is a light creamy white with a satin sheen. There is also a toned paper variety that has an orangish cream appearance on the front of the stamp and a deep yellowish orange appearance on the back. I have found this type of paper in several different collections and because of this we are concluding that this is not resulting from storage conditions, as even collections known to have been properly stored have been found to contain this paper variety. The gum on these printings is an orangy cream with a satin sheen.
