All values from 4c to 7c are on horizontal ribbed paper. The 4c shade varies from deep brown black to jet black. The 5c purple shades vary in intensity, as do the 7c blue shades. The 15c is mostly found on vertically ribbed paper. Shades vary in terms of how red the vermilion is and how cool/warm the tone is. There are two printings included on smooth paper, one printed in a slightly deeper shade. Gum varies from cream to deep yellow & generally gloss
