4 VFNH horizontal pair of the 8c multicolored Assiniboine Thunderbird & Sun Dance Costume from the 1972 Plains Indians Issue on different NF/DF, DF/DF-fl, DF/lf-fl & DF/F vertical ribbed papers. The lot includes;

• DF/LF-fl bluish gray with sparse LF fibers
• DF/DF-fl, very sparse LF & woodpulp flecks

This issue continues the use of the chalk-surfaced vertical ribbed paper, though this time, the default level of fluorescence on the back is either DF, low fluorescent flecked, or fluorescent flecked. It lacks the brightness that the Laporte issue had, with only one exception: the uncoated vertically ribbed paper that is vertically ribbed, and appears MF-fl under UV on both the front and the back.
