2 very fine used singles of the 3c light bright orange vermillion & orange red from the 1888-1897 Small Queen Issue, early second Ottawa printing, papers 2O-E & 2O-JJ, medallion dots at 3 & 9 o'clock, very seldon seen on small queens.

The light bright vermillion is on paper 2O-E, perf 12, April 11 1892 Clinton BC cancel. The orange red is on 2O-EE, which is a newly listed type, and much scarcer, as nearly all papers from the Second Ottawa period are horizontal. This has two dots, one at 3 O'clock and one above the UR corner. Feb. 26 1892 Carleton Cancel.
