A very fine used cover from the 1974 Angus Sherwood Tugboat, sent to Germany, franked with 5c+10c caricature to pay 15c airmail rate to Germany.
A Note on the face indicates that the cover was carried aboard the Angus Sherwood, which was a diesel Tugboat launched by the Northern Transportation Company in 1969. The ship departed Tukteyaktuk in NWT on August 10, taking 19 days to make the 500km journey to Copper Mine, due to poor ice conditions. Sept 9 1974 German arrived backstamp.
