A group of 2 souvenir postcard folders From Nova Scotia and Halifax, showing various landmarks and tourist attractions ,from the 1960's and 1970's. The first folder depicts the Bay of Fundy at high and low tides, a tuna fishing wharf at Wedgeport, scallop boats at Digby Wharf, the lighthouse at Peggy's Cove, Blue Rocks near Lunenburg, Blossoms at Annapolis Valley, oxen team, aerial in Halifax, Sailing Schooner Bluenose 11, Evangeline Park and Monument, Grand Pre, Fishing Schooner at Hackets Cove and Road to Isles Causeway. The second folder depicts various landmarks in Halifax. The airport shot, shows "Trans Canada Airlines", which is what Air Canada was called prior to 1965, when it was renamed. So, this is from the early 1960's. Generally, most of the scence shown look very different today, since Halifax has many more people now than it had then. Overall the cards are VF.
