A Group of 3 Postcards and a Souvenir Postcard Folder From Prince Edward Island, Showing Various Views and Tourist Attractions, From The 1960's-1970's, Overall VF, Net Est. $6
A group of 3 postcards and 1 souvenir postcard folder From Prince Edward Island, showing various views and tourist attractions ,from the 1960's-1970's. The three cards are all fairly generic views of PEI, except one, which is the Linkletter Motel in Summerside. I believe this was eventually bought and rennovated into what is now the Causeway Bay Hotel and Convention centre. The Souvenir folder appears to be from the early 1960's, based on the models of the cars shown. It depicts various tourist attractions, including: the Legistative Building in Charlottetown, the Stanley River, Bloonfield Park, Souris Lighthouse, Charlottetown race track, York Minster Cathedral 1 to 20 scale replica, Montague river, fishing fleet at Murray River, Queen Elizabeth Park, Government House, Green Gables, Cavendish Beach and an aerial view of Trans Canada Highway at Clyde River. Overall the cards are VF. Net estimated value for the group is $6.
