3 VFNH singles of the 6c multicolured White Throated Sparrow from the 1969 Birds Issue with colour shifts of birds & branches on HB paper, fluorescence level 11. These shifts involve lefward or rightward shifts of the branches in relation to the background colour, or upward or downward shifts of the birds. These varieties show that the background, the branches and the birds were all printed seperately, in stages. They arent that common, making about 5% of the total printing, split between all the varieties. So we estimate them at $5 each.

Our estimated value is $15. The stamps offered here grades 75-80 as follows:

Centering/Margins: 45/70-50/70

Paper Freshness: 5/5

Colour: 5/5

Impression: 5/5

Absence of Visible Paper Flaws: 5/5

Perforations: 10/10

The paper used for these stampos is very similar to that found on the John McCrae issue. It is generally HB12 or HB, with the occasional HF paper. I have done my best to capture these differences by taking pictures with my camera under UV light, but the differences can be harder to see than in real life. That should be borne in mind if you are looking at the scans and cannot tell the difference between them.
