A complete set of 7 F-VF first flight covers covering all seven of the seven main transit points of the Toronto Canadian National Exhibition Jubilee Flights that were held between August 24 and 29th 1928. The flights were performed by Canadian Transcontinental Airlines to demonstrate the feasibility of airmail to the public. The seven main transit points are:
• Toronto to Montreal
• Toronto to Ottawa
• Toronto to Kingston
• Toronto to Hamilton
• Toronto to London
• Toronto to Windsor
• Toronto to Quebec
All seven covers are franked with #144, the 5c violet Laurier stamp from the 1927 Confederation issue. All bear a violet commemorative cachet. All except Toronto to London have been sent on to Chicago after reaching Toronto, and have Chicago backstamps. AAMC cat. $21
