A VFNH complete booklet of the 1c & 12c multicoloured Bottle Gentian & Queen Elizabeth II from the 1977-1985 Floral & Environment Issue DF/DF pane, with dark deep plum ink smudges on all 12c stamps. One thing that isn't obvious about these booklets is that the inscriptions on the stamps are two different colours: On the 1c stamps, the inscriptions are printed from deep bluish violet ink, wheras the ink used for the inscriptions on the 12c is a very deep plum. So, some issue with the doctor blades, or the plate has resulted in the 12c stamps receiving little spots of inscription ink all over the design. Unlisted in Unitrade and McCann.
