10 fine used singles of the 1/2d - 8d pale rosine - rose from the 1885-1895 Navish Design Stamp Duty Issue, a selection of vg and vf examples that includes unlisted compound perfs. Includes: SG#296,avar, 297-a, 298, 299b, 300a, 302 (SC# 146-a, 147-a, 148a, 149, 150, 152).

The perfs are as follows; 1/2d pale rosine - 12.5, 1.2d rosine - 12.5comp12x12.5, 1d Pea green - 12.5comp12x12.5, 1d dull yellow green - 12.5comp12 on all sides except base which is 12.5, 2d - 12.5, 3d - 12.5comp12x12.5, 4d - 12.5comp12x12.5 and 8d 12.5comp12x12.5. The 12.5comp12x12.5 varieties are all rare and unlisted. According to my onlone research, they are valued as follows: 1/2d - $1,200, 1d pea green - $625 (vs $4,000 for VF), 1d yellowish green - $1,500, 3d bistre - $1,800, 4d bright mauve - $1,800, 8d rose on pink - $1,250 vs $4,200 for VF.

Gibbons doesn't list these varieties, so we estimate them at $8175. The stamps offered here grade between 60 and 71 as follows:
