Lot 309 Italy 1970's Commemorative Issues, 250-300 VFOG&NH Singles In Two Large Glassine Envelopes, Unchecked For Paper Fluorescence & Tagging Varieties, Ideal For Further Study
250-300 VFOG&NH singles of the multicoloured Various Subjects from the 1970's Commemorative Issues in two large glassine envelopes, unchecked for paper fluorescence & tagging varieties, ideal for further study. The commemorative issues of the 1970's seem to exhibit a tremendous range of paper fluorescences andnearly all number are tagged. So my expectation as you sort through these is that you will find differences in tagging and paper type. I saw a few tagged stamps where the tagging was uneven, and partially missing. Many issues are watermarked also, generally with the multiple star watermark. This watermark has the stars running in alternate directions, so inverted watermarks are not really possible, but sideways varieties could exist. None of these stamps have been examined or che checked in any way.
Our estimate of the value of these is $30.
