A fine used single of the 3c indian red from the 1870-1893 Small Queen Issue, expert fake, laid paper.
Appears to have been made by aking an example on duckworth paper 4 and adding very carefully, layers of additional woodpulp along the back in spaced line, so that some areas are slightly thicker than average. The laid lines, when viewed in fluid, are not even in the way they extend across the stamp, whereas they are on lot 356. A very useful reference item.
Unitrade doesn't list this variety, so we estimate it at $100. The stamp offered here grades 75 as follows:
